THE ARK
Woke up one day and realized that I need to build something that would protect us from the inhuman things that happen in the world. An Ark is what I need to protect me and my loved ones.The Noah's Ark was built to protect people from the wrath of God.The God's are mad again,so many centuries later.I need to build an Ark,to protect them,to steer them away from danger.Humanity is already lost to us.We need to salvage what we can.But i'm conflicted.I can make the boat all by myself,no doubt.But I can't make up my mind as to why the boat needs to be big.I'll have animals and plants,gadgets and groceries.I'll have books,a whole lot and in every language imaginable.And everything else that I can think of.Then comes the hard part.Humans.Why do they need to be on the boat?Does the mankind deserve to be saved?Most of them does not even deserve to be in the consideration list.Besides is it not the man kind that invited the wrath of the Gods.His actions even while he is looking out for his own interests still manages to annihilate everything near and around him.He cuts down trees,kills animals for fun,food and money even while their is no longer a reason to do so.He destroys everything he lays his hands on .He is greedy,selfish,lustful and horrible in every way imaginable.Humankind has done the most atrocious things even imaginable by mankind.A man rapes,molests,harasses women including his own mother,daughter,sister and everyone else in between.Even at a young age this tendency can be found in the male species of mankind.Not that women are any better.Back to my original thought,does the human kind deserve to be saved by the Ark or anything else.Torment does not get more real than this.Every Yin needs its Yang but what happens when the Yin tries to outdo or eliminate the Yang or vice-versa.Does the oppressed fight back or keep on taking the beatings.
On further thought,I decided not to build the Ark and let humankind decide its own fate.Either humanity will rise above and live or the beast stays and destroys all.
